Checks run every minute, so the picture is the current one rather than this morning’s. When a vendor admits an outage, that sits next to what the checks actually measured, and you can see which of the two is talking.

Measured, not quoted
Every service is probed directly: the site, the API, DNS, the TLS certificate. A status page still insisting everything is fine does not overrule what the checks see.

Forty-one of the services publish a machine-readable status. Those are read every five minutes, so an outage the vendor has admitted shows up without you visiting forty-one pages.
